What documents and certificates do I need to submit to get a Chinese visa in 2024?
Typically, Russian nationals have to submit a complete package of documents to obtain a Chinese visa:
- A filled-in questionnaire with personal data: full name, place of work, place of birth, trip details, and the reason for visiting China.
- Passport: your original passport valid for at least six months from the visa application date.
- For children: a copy of the birth certificate.
- Photo: one color photo meeting the requirements of the Chinese consulate.
- Booking confirmation: a copy of your hotel or accommodation booking in China for the planned dates.
- Tickets: copies of airline or other transportation tickets confirming your travel plans as a tourist or for business purposes.
- Travel itinerary: a detailed description of your trip to China, including the places you intend to visit and the dates you'll stay in each location.
- Proof of financial means such as bank statements or credit card statements, as well as employment references, are required.
- Health insurance: we recommend obtaining international health insurance that covers medical expenses during your stay in China.
